Perfect as a starter with a baguette or ciabatta.
2 tbsp. caramelized butter
1 tbsp.Olive oil
pinch of sugar
pinch of salt
6 small chicory
1 teaspoon Café de Paris (spice mixture)
about 10 cherry tomatoes
Wash and halve the chicory and fry in caramelized butter plus olive oil, sugar and salt until golden brown.
Pour into a casserole dish.
Add Café de Paris to the pan and briefly sauté the halved cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.
Put everything into the casserole dish and roast in the oven at 140 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
Goes well with homemade ciabatta or fresh baguette.
Of course, a glass of white wine or a well-chilled Lillet should not be missing.
